And Mary said:
My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant.
From now on all generations will call me blessed for the Mighty One has done great things for me … holy is His name (Luke 1:46-49).
Before we pray:
Bring to mind His good works in your own life~
Lift your praise in song, in heart, in mind to God Our Savior~
Be ever so still and honor His holiness~
Dear Father in heaven who formed the earth and the heavens and everything in them,
We gather in Your holy name to pray today.
We praise You, Father, for there is none like You, nor will there ever be.
We are overwhelmed by Your goodness, how You pursue us with blessing each and every day.
Lord, we lay our aching hearts on Your altar today.
Our world, people whom You created, are blaming and are keeping busy with things … just like the Israelites who turned away and made their own god, the infamous golden calf who spoke not, who listened not, who was hollow with spirit or power.
Lord, we see Your power. We know Your grief. We shudder at Your tornadoes. We wonder how long Your plague will persist.
We ask You, Father, that You stir more souls to surrender, that You bring more busy people to their knees, that more voices today call today upon the name of the Lord to be saved.
We lift our own families to You. We invite the presence of Your Holy Spirit to be made known to us. We pray for You to give us, Your children chasing after You, wisdom, that You guide our steps and slow us to take one holy assignment at a time.
Lord, we thank You for showing us how You use ordinary people for extraordinary things as you did with Mary, mother of Jesus. We thank You that she is such an example to us to follow in learning to love and honor You.
For without You, Father, we are nothing.
In Your powerful Son’s name Jesus we pray,
Thank you for joining me here to pray. There is so much to pray for, but let’s not forget to simply honor Jesus and Father God when we pray. Our communication with Him is important to Him.

Have a beauty-full day, no matter the weather.
Remember be strong in Him, not yourselves.
Love in Christ,
