Though you are well-dressed and manage a large corporation, you may be lost.
Though you are happily married and a loving mom, you may be lost.
Though you are grieving and lonely, you may be lost.
Though you are surrounded by people at work or at school, you may be lost.
Though you feel better when you shop, when you have sex, when you drink, you may be lost.
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost (Luke 19:10).
We shall not assume who among us is with the Lord, nor shall we assume who is lost.
One way to know more about someone is to talk with them, to walk with them, or to pray. Holy Spirit guides us only in truth and tells what is to come (John 16:12-15). He may, at any moment, have a job for you to minister to someone who doesn’t know Jesus.
I was lost for so many years. I was lost for more years than I am saved.
But the power of God stands against every lost year, every feeling that I didn’t belong, every time I felt abandoned, every love I walked away from because I couldn’t recognize it, every drop of alcohol I consumed over twenty-six years.
Yes, God redeems what we lose.
God, your God, will restore everything you lost; He’ll have compassion on you; He’ll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered (Deuteronomy 30:3 The Message).
So if you have lost yourself at the bottom of a bottle, or in an abusive relationship, or simply in your pride and success, then please know you can be found … today.
You don’t need to fix yourself, straighten out your life, pay any money, and you definitely don’t need to continue to hide in the shadows of abundant life.
Life is such an incredible gift.
For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13).
No matter how much time you have lost or been lost, look up and say to Jesus, I believe You are the Son of the One True God. Tell Him everything about your life that is a mess, that is a burden, that you need saved because this life is not working. Be honest because He knows everything about you already. Tell Him you don’t know how to love anyone else and certainly not yourself. You thought you would be in a different place by now. You thought you would be happy. Tell Him you are done trying to do things on your own, that you need a Lord and Savior.
Jesus welcomes everything about you. He knows the exact number of hairs you have upon your head (Luke 12:7).
Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do His will. And I know that I will not be put to shame (Isaiah 50:7).
He says, “Come to the Cross where I died for you. I took every sin, every mistake, every shameful thing upon My body. Those sins were nailed to the Cross. I died. Laid in Joseph’s tomb for three days. But God Our Father raised me up on the third day, making good on the promise He is making a place for you. In heaven. Believe that I rose from the dead, resurrected, so that not even death could take those who love Me. Believe these things, and I will make you new in Me. My love and grace and truth will help you in ways you never knew were possible. And you are never alone in Me. I am with you until the end of the age, then you will be with Me for eternity.”
Jesus, is not ashamed of the lost. Our Immanuel, our God with all of us, whether we believe in Him or not.
Whom can you reach out to today?
Whom can you come alongside and pray with?
Whom can you point to Our Messiah, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior?
Thank you for joining me here. As some of you may remember, I am leading God’s Revival this coming August.
Would you pray with me that God draw the lost to be found, that more and more souls be saved and that His people leave the grounds trusting in the Lord who says He will make them new?
If God stirs you to help with Revival, you may donate and/or serve in many different ways. I look forward to hearing from you email@example.com.
May God bless you the very hour that you read this post.
In His love and for His glory,
