Do We Lay Down Our Lives for Him?

  1. Wow, Julie, I admire your holy boldness in witnessing to others.
I will pray for Devin too.

I feel confident in writing about the Gospel, but I have rarely shared my faith with people I meet in public. This is a weakness of mine, for sure.

Perhaps others are like me too.
But what you are doing is tremendous. People are lost, and are hurting, and God expects us to share the joy of knowing Jesus with others.
    Thanks for this post. ⚘🤗

    1. Good morning, Sally, thank you so much for the encouragement. I want to encourage you that you are writing about the Gospel and God will use it to grow, to plant, to water, to scatter, however He sees fit. In the class I am teaching, I will share what one of my professors gave us, a list of six styles of evangelism, for we all were not created in the same way. I am happy to share with you, too, if you think it would be helpful. Thank you for joining in prayer for Devin’s salvation. My sense was that he did not have a solid foundation given as he grew up. Have a beautiful day in the Lord. In Him, Julie

  2. It comes back to obedience, doesn’t it? Sometimes it’s hardest to serve when it’s the people closest to us, to lay down our own lives and spring into action to serve.
    Praying for Devin…

    1. Yes, Kathy, I think obedience is part of it, doing His will not our own. I believe He has equipped us all to share/serve Him, in whatever unique way that is. What others say or simply fear of judgment can hinder. Thank you so much for praying for Devin. I am praying about revisiting him at that gas station.

  3. Hi Julie, God is just so faithful to us. Reading your post is evidence of that because I am in a place of preparing that the Lord is bringing me through. Yesterday it was heavy on my heart, I was looking at a study tool (The School of Christ) that missionaries and Pastors from my church have used to equip them when going out and sharing the gospel. I was asking God is this what I need to do, Now. I found myself texting my best friend,”I’m ready to die for Him.” I most definitely feel his call on my life.

  4. This brought tears to my eyes my friend. Thank you, Jesus for Julie. This beautiful
soul is a constant source of encouragement and commitment…to YOU and everyone she touches. Lord, use me this way. Bolt my boldness to your strength alone. May Devin find you. May our country find you. May my own family members (you know the ones in wish I need to be bolder) know you. I rejoice in your never ending love and source of strength right here…right now. I love you Julie Dibbles and your heart and soul.

    1. Dearest Karla, joining you in lifting all those you mention to Him, our Redeemer. Praising God because He is worthy! We are connected by His Spirit and by His never ending love. I love you too my friend, how He uses you to give us words of hope, how your heart speaks through your pen. Praying for you as I finish typing. ✝️❤

      1. I’ve prayed for you my dear friend this morning. Today completes my “rounds of reunion”. “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy!” I’m slowly learning to embrace this new season I needed to finally rest in my reality~Alone or not, my adult “kids” away, a job or not,…God has me. None of that defines me. My “Who I am” is in HIM! We are connected by it and it gives me comfort. May we continue to fight with faith! 💚💛❤️🙏🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🤗🤗🤗
