Such a busy time of year.
Won’t we pause? Breathe?
Allow the ancient hallelujah’s to bathe our souls?
God made the Way for me to attend the Susquehanna Chorale Christmas concert. I have been two times before. I am led to return again next year.

Focused worship guided by an amazing group of men and women who pour out at His feet in song, with instrument, and in unity.

In spite of my weariness, quite literally, in spite of my flesh … in surrender, my Spirit answered His call to abide, to become one with Him, where human boundaries are consumed by the intense presence of the Lord.
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me (John 15:4 ESV).
I will share what may appear as a stream of consciousness. On the contrary, it was written during this oneness with Jesus, inspired by the beautiful music filling the room:
~washed over with Alleluia
rhythmic waves
sweet song
redemption
Christ the Lord
is born
in Bethlehem
good Christian
hear the rejoice!
the news
is yours
He is born today!
the Messiah is here
a crescendo
of belief
He is Jesus
He is Christ
born to save
rejoice, rejoice!
shiny star
in the East
with ease
His daughter
breathes
twinkling notes
sail … rise … yes rise
up shepherd
and follow
sailing to the star
not far
angel song rings
out across the land
glory … Light
they close their eyes in fright
rise up, shepherd
and follow
to the north
Most High
before night ends
Christ is born
rise up, shepherd
and follow
piano key
a plea
to lift my eyes
send thee
go see
the little baby
sinners why don’t you answer
knockin’
Jesus, our Savior, is here~
~whispers of white Christmas
Bing
singing
in the car
in the house
snow in Connecticut
many I will never forget
blizzards
sleds
but Christmas …
white … little lights & red velvet bows
and so it goes
the secular
until my ears could hear
Silent Night … sleep in heavenly peace …
the warm glow
let’s me know
I can abide anytime
the old is gone, the new is come
hail His Kingdom
His birth, our King!
rejoicing, singing
In peace, believing
Straining
until His returning ~

Oh what a Savior! He drew me back through the old (some memories of growing up) to remind me how He continues to make me new. New life in Jesus is filled with awe and wonder.
Yes, good Christians, let us truly fear our Lord, who holds the power to transform any heart, no matter how broken. I cannot ever find the sufficient words to glorify His name, the name above all others. Without Jesus, we were dying in sin. We owe Him our lives. He suffered and died for us.
Christmas Eve, the night before we celebrate His birth. Please remember to sit still with Him, our Immanuel. For God so loved you, He sent His one and only Son …

Julie, I pray you had a beautiful, Hallelujah-filled Christmas. There are so many lines in your words that spoke to my heart. “A crescendo of belief” is one that will stick with me. Just as the music’s pitch, notes, and rhythms change, my love for Christ, sadly, had decrescendos in my past…and now, along with others that have found the true peace of Christ, I hear us singing, collectively and the belief sounds bigger and better all the time! God bless you, sister. I’m lifting you in prayer physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You and I have goals to tackle. And with the power of Christ, we can work and rest as he heeds. I love you!

Yessss, Lord, we are singing collectively and our belief is growing because of You! Karla, dear, I prayed for you this morning. How did everything go today?

My friend, I felt you with me. The radiologist wants to do a biopsy on the 10th. I went in expecting good results. They have concerns. I felt numb for a minute and then praised God because HE has me no matter what! If early cancer HE has it! If benign, He has it! For Iβm held in his hands. I love you sister and thank you for covering me in prayers as I do you and yours. ππ»β€οΈππ

Then we pray until the 10th, until He reveals His plan for your given body. I love you and wish I could hug you right now.

Julie, I can definitely feel the emotional rush in witnessing the birth of our Savior Jesus. Your poem carries my spirit to Bethlehem and back, over the wintry pasts I know. Blessings to you and your family. May the spirit of Christmas shine with its joy.

Dear Richard, I thank Jesus for this streaming poem. I thank Him for using it to bless you. Our Christmas was quiet, as quiet as it can be with a 1 year old lab/shepherd mix. I pray you and your wife enjoied His peace and good food π
