My to-do list is growing.
Though I did errands yesterday, I still have more.
Preparing to preach, lead lovely women of God on an imaginary train ride, bake, bless the residents who come regularly to Bible study at Paxton, make party favors, write zillions of cards … all in the next few weeks.
I saw this on Facebook: WORSHIP OVER WHINING.
I cannot say I love Jesus then stretch myself so thin I have no time to worship Him.
Waiting for His birth shall be both joyous and reverent. The Magi from the East taught us well.
From Matthew 2:10-11 ESV:
When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. 11 And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.
For me, I need to make a list each day of realistic tasks to complete.
Before I make my list, worship my Lord in song. Christian Christmas music abounds on the radio and YouTube, if you are not gifted musically.
Enter His gates with a heart of thanks. Do not let the undone tasks smother your soul, Julie, for your soul pants after Jesus.
Lift my eyes to where my help comes from. When you look at the face of Jesus, Julie, you do not see anyTHING but love.
Yes, Lord. I love You. Help me feed Your sheep You have put in my path this Advent season. May Your love flow through my fingertips as I write cards and bake. May Your grace separate necessary and unnecessary things in my schedule. May more and more know the Gospel of peace and forgiveness found only in You, Jesus.
~If you need prayer, please comment here or email me at juliedibblespeaks@gmail.com. Thank you for joining me during this most wonderful time of year. Love in Christ, Julie

Yes, Lord, May it be so! And as Kathy joined me in praying, you promise to be with us.
